Hollywood's  excitement nowadays on its peak because Lady Gaga recently tweets that she’ll release her latest album”Born This Way”on 23rd May but the title track of the album should be release in 11 February.

Lisa Ray Is Opening a Yoga Studio In Toronto

Mumbai: . Lisa  Ray has a big career plans for this year, she is going to open a yoga studio in Toronto, the work for which is in full-throttle at the moment. Marriage seems to be the last thing in her mind.

Yoga, it must be mentioned, provided Lisa with tremendous emotional, spiritual and physical solace during her prolonged illness and recovery last year. And now, she is ready to share her yoga knowledge with the world.

This news has come completely out of left field. It was most unexpected! I'd love to clarify matters as I'm working on projects in India and don't want my work colleagues out in India to get the impression that I'm not committed to my projects and work out there," she told.

Asked about the status of her relationship with her faithful companion Brett Wilson, she replied: "The point is, marriage is not on the cards. The news that came out is unfounded. I am very good friends with Brett and I described marriage as an 'imperfect institution' to make light of the situation, not to make light of marriage."

Lisa is very much excited about her projects this year.

"I'm opening a hot yoga studio here in Brampton, Canada. There's so much to look forward to this year. Every day is a blessing. I was recently at the Toronto Film Critics Association dinner where I was surrounded with love and compliments on my 'second coming' (the near-death illness).

"I'm working on a kick-ass series for TLC. Finalising some film projects soon. Involved in another momentous stem-cell event in Toronto. Life is grand. I'm so blessed to live and work in two different worlds," she said.

Priyanka Chopra Takes A Dig On Two Khans At Zee Cine Awards

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra might have shown her 12 avatars in Ashutosh Gowariker’s film What’s Your Raashee but she earned more accolades for her half a dozen avatars at the recently held Zee Cine Award.

The National Award winning actress also earned compliments from SRK for her MNIK look. He said the Priyanka looked so beautiful for the first time in this attire.

Priyanka also played Katrina Kaif’s character from Rajneeti and a reporter for introducing Peepli Live. She bowled over everyone starting from King Khan to Karan Johar and all her fans. Audience was left in splits with her different avatars on stage.

Filmfare Awards made Vidya Balan Nervous

Vidya Balan, who has three Filmfare Awards in her kitty, said that she cherishes her first Filmfare the most, which she got in 2006 for her performance in Parineeta. She confessed at a recent news conference that she was very nervous when she climbed the stage to get the award.
“I couldn’t see anything and there were stars in my eyes. I was nervous and there was stage fear,” she confessed. Asked how important is awards to an actress, Vidya said, “You always dream of awards. But the biggest award is people’s appreciation. I don’t think of box office collection but do my best.”


It may be recalled that Vidya has won Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and Filmfare Face of the Year in 2006 for her role in Parineeta and Filmfare Best Actress Award for Paa in 2010.

Kareena Kapoor Suffered From Food Poisoning

It seems that the Kapoor girl –Kareena is facing a difficult time. The buzz was doing the rounds that Kareena was feeling unwell on the sets of her latest venture Bodyguard. Bebo had a bout of food poisoning. Kareena was shooting in Pune when she suddenly started feeling unwell. Kareena had to take bed rest for her condition and the shooting had to be halted.

Kareena is paired opposite to Salman Khan in the movie Bodyguard. The film is made on the lines of a Malayalam film which bears the same name.

The film is by Siddique while Salman Khan’s brother- in- law Atul Agnihotri and his wife Alvira Agnihotri are the producers of the film. Pritam Chakraborty has been roped in for the music in the film. In this film Salman dons a different look altogether.

It will be a far cry from what he has done in his blockbuster hit Dabbang.

Kareena will be essaying the role of a don’s daughter who is a college goer. Kareena also sports a different look in the film as she goes traditional for the film. Kareena wears a lot of PakDesigner Manish Malhotra is trying to get Karenna’s look in the film right. Manish has even scouted for accessories in Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. Manish feels that Kareena will be a trendsetter with her ethnic look in the film.

News are doing the rounds that the makers plan to release Bodyguard on August 27.However with Bebo’s condition the production of the movie will be delayed istani kurtas with oxidized jewellery.

Actress Deepika Padukone Suffered From a Nervous Break down.

The actress is a nervous wreck on Aarakshan set due to huge crowds.

Deepika Padukone has started working with Prakash Jha on his next film Aarakshan. This being her first film with the director, Deepika was extremely nervous about the shoot.

To add to her woes, she was shooting in Bhopal at a college. After seeing the crowd of hundreds gathered at the college campus, she almost had a nervous break down. A source reveals, "Bhopal is foreign territory for Deepika. She hasn't shot for a film in the city before. Also, working with Jha was a first-time experience for her.

His style of working is very different from the directors she's worked with in the past."

Deepika's shoot started with some solo scenes of her in the campus. When she got on the sets, she was clueless about what she would have to do.

The source adds, "DP reached the production area, which was in the backyard of the college. Not many students had come in. The crowd was just about trickling in.

In matter of couple of hours, the place was packed with students and everyone had gathered to see her shoot."

Since her character is that of a college girl she was required to shoot at various places in the campus. However, things got better when Saif joined the shoot in the second half of the day.

"Deepika was much more comfortable when Saif came on set. He made her feel relaxed and put her at ease. She was also surprised at what kind of a hold Jha had on the crowd.Despite the fact that there were hundreds of students around, every time he would say action there would be pindrop silence on the set."

 By the end of the day Deepika got comfortable with the college crowd and even interacted with the students, promising to return to their campus once their shoot ends.

I-T Department Searched their ambassador,Priyanka chopra's premises

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra whose premises were searched by the Income Tax department had only last year starred in a short promotional film aimed to spread the message of tax compliance.

Chopra along with Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar had featured in a 20-minute-long documentary by the I-T department which was unveiled by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on July 24 in New Delhi to mark the first ever ‘Income Tax Day’.

The actors in the film had appealed to the public to pay their taxes diligently and honestly.

In an interesting twist of fate, I-T sleuths swooped upon Chopra’s apartment in suburban Versova while the residence of her father, Ashok Chopra, in suburban Lokhandwala, was also raided besides the premises of the actor’s secretary Chand Mishra.

The searches were conducted yesterday morning as the department suspected tax evasion on brand endorsements, offshore assignments and private appearances by the actor who has starred in films like Dostana, Anjaana Ajaani, Kaminey.

I-T officers are now checking her income received from advertisements, foreign assignments and guest appearances.

“The I-T department had approached the actors including Chopra for the documentary as they are considered youth icons and Aamir (Khan) and Akshay (Kumar) were amongst the top tax payers in the film industry,” a senior I-T officer said.But, when it comes to professional duties, the department will conduct inquiries against anyone and everyone, the officer added.

Another actor Katrina Kaif was also covered in yesterday’s searches.

Bigg Boss 4 winner Shweta assaulted, Raja absconding

Shweta Tiwari was flying in the seventh sky after winning ‘Bigg Boss 4’ but her happiness stayed for short duration. The popular television actress has once again become victim of domestic violence by her ex-husband Raja Chaudhary, who often hits headlines for his notorious acts.

Raja has again assaulted his ex-wife and her friend Abhinav Kohli. Shweta has filed her fourth complaint against Raja, who has entered her house forcefully and assaulted her.

The report suggests that on Tuesday, Raja barged in Shweta’s house at Shiv Shakti Society in Malad at around 1 am and started abusing her.

R Prabhu, senior inspector of Malad police station, was quoted saying that they have booked Raja for abusing, trespassing and assaulting. He said that now they will take strong action against him.

On the other hand, Shweta has demanded police protection as Raja did the same thing in last October when she was inside the Bigg Boss house.

Raja is now absconding following the incident and police is searching for him.

However, police is not going to allow him to enter the city if he is caught somewhere. Earlier, court ordered Raja to stay away from Shweta residence but he did not bother to obey that. Apart from assaulting his ex-wife, Raja was often associated with some notorious acts like abusing women in drunken condition and breaking rules.

We hope police takes a tough action against him this time, so that he never dares to repeat such acts in future.

Kareena Kapoor goes ethnic for her 'Bodyguard'

Kareena Kapoor to don traditional attire in the 'Bodyguard' remake

After sporting chic Western attire for her role as a hairstylist in Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi, Kareena Kapoor will go ethnic for Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard.

She plays a don's beti in the latter and will mostly Indian traditional clothes including bright kurtas with lots of oxidised jewellery. Bodyguard, directed by Siddique, is an adaptation of a hit Malayalam flick.

Bebo has been styled by Manish Malhotra for both films. Says a source, "MM has given her a very different look in Bodyguard, as she plays a college-going girl who is also a don's daughter.

So she wears bright and colourful Pakistani long kurtas with block print salwars. Kareena is known to be a fashion icon having started the Geet kurtis in Jab We Met.

This will start a new trend for youngsters too of long Pakistani kurtas with high slits and big ghera salwars."

The Kapoor gal will accessorise with silver antique oxidised jewellery, beaded bags and accessories. "There are lots of metallic and thread work bangles to add an Indian touch.

Manish sourced the accessories from Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. Most of the outfits, she will wear, have an embroidered patch with crochet and threadwork.

Kareena has kept her hair long, straight and simple in the film, " adds the source.

INSPIRATION

The original Malayalam flick revolves around a young man Jayakrishnan who adulates anyone with a trace of heroism and offers to be their bodyguard.

A business tycoon Ashokan hires him to follow and safeguard his only daughter Ammu. He follows her everywhere.

To distract him, she calls him from an unknown number claiming to love him. Years later, Jayakrishnan realises that his real lover is Ammu, who's waited for him for so many years faithfully and marries her.
